Hop Oils IPA: Citra & Cascade
Today, let's try using these hop oils in an American IPA. The grain bill is quite simple and for the hopping we will help with a dose of Loral hops at 60 minutes of boiling and another addition during the whirlpool. The kveik that works at 25 degrees allows to obtain a fairly neutral aromatic profile, with light notes of tropical fruit. We add the hop oils during the transfer of the beer into the keg and that's it! Are you curious about the result?

Bright, crisp and light. A thin body beer with a subtle hop aroma. The hop oils (a combo of Citra & Cascade) impart a fresh citrusy flavor. The use of hop oils allows to obtain a clean hop aroma without herbaceus notes. Another interesting quality of hop oils is the possibility of adding them a little at a time and flavoring the beer according to your tastes. Well-balanced and very tasty, a successful experiment!
